Things I woke up loving..
1. Rununculus + Peonies. Okay, didnt wake up loving these…but you get the idea. I wish I could have them in my house all year long.
2. Ohdeedoh. I could spend all day on this site. ALL DAY!!! I have about 50 craft ideas bookmarked and love to stop by for inspiration and ideas. If you have not checked it out…make sure to grab a coffee first!
3. Halloween…love it. I am really excited this year and since I might just have some free time I think we are going to attempt some crafts. I want to start getting stuff up now. hehe. Martha Stewart is my fave for crafting Halloween goodies. Time to start prepping costumes!!
4. Better Homes + Gardens. Honestly, I find this magazine a little confusing…only because at any given time you can find at least 3 at news stands. So, I figure it is best to buy them all! I picked up an easy recipes edition this summer and so far I have made 3 recipes (I am not a cook…hehe) and they have all been huge hits in our house! I am sold.
Another thing that made me smile this morning. Chris + Heather, a fabulous couple…these two make me smile.
Check out their full post at White Linen Photography. So love…

Happy Friday all.
i heart this photo…and this couple.

Yes I know, I know…its not the same. But its just going to have to do. My Friday postings have been pretty much non existent lately…and this week is not about to get better. So, I thought I better get my act together.
Today I am celebrating my vacation efforts a few weeks back. The reason? Well…I didnt torture my children with endless requests to be photographed…not to say that I didnt take some snaps…but I really just let them be them. I didnt worry about light (oh you will notice) or anything really. Some of these were in camera black and white, high iso’s and well…just all around everything wrong in photography terms…but in life terms, i deem them perfect!
Our holiday was filled with swimming, biking, trail walking…and games. Speaking of games, it must be said…I am officially the worlds worst Trivial Pursuit player…even the family edition…on childrens cards. Ha. Yes, that just happened.
School is back in today and I thought it would be a perfect time to post a few of these snapshots. Trev is officially a high schooler *gasp*. Haley is the proud owner of braces that somehow make her even more adorable! Si will be starting his final pre-school year in a few days and Isla is finally starting to like people! ha. Life…life is good.
enjoy.
Hubby took the photo of us all…and I adore it.
the last two, make me smile over and over. Isla is sharing her fave book with Daddy and Trev…Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb by Dr. Suess…that and a quick little nose check. hehe.
Summertime has been busy! I keep telling myself to stick to my master plan as it will make things far easier than previous years…but apparently my master plan needs some tweaking! I have decided that blog posts are just going to have to take a little longer than the norm…and Fresh for Friday might just need to be on a summer break. In the midst of it all Michele and I are working away on our joint venture White Linen Photography. Re-branding in the near future and all sorts of wonderful changes (we are so excited!). The full posts for the sessions below will be posted on White Linen so please make sure to bookmark and check back often.
Michele and I were fortunate enough to share in photographing each of the couples below. Yes, we do have the worlds greatest job and well…I kinda love my partner! hehe.
Enough of that. Onto the goods…
enjoy.
Nadim + Lila. A super fabulous couple session celebrating their anniversary. Lila, you are smokin’. (And I can still hear your giggle!).
Happy Anniversary to you both!
Ross + Nicole. A gathering of close friends for a fabulous wedding on their property…perfection.
Shawn + Kelsey. 100 acres. Horses, barns, cowboy boots + hats…simply fantastic. Thanks Mish for making sure I didnt miss out on this day!
