Pat + Kara :: Engaged

Wednesday after Wednesday…it rained. It just so happens, that is the day that we kept booking for. Fortunately after many re-bookings…we were given the most amazing light this year has had to offer. So deserved.

Michele and I scoped out some new spots recently and this was the perfect night to give them a go. Maybe a little more research was in order considering those lovely little wheat branches actually have the most evil prickly little thorns that happen to love lulu pans. ha. Ah well, live and learn. Pat + Kara thank you oh so much for being wonderfully patient. I could not be more thrilled with our session and cannot wait for your wedding day. You two are beyond fabulous.

i heart this tree. yummy light. fab couple.this one makes me smile. big big smiles.

the sunflowers were a last minute grab while running out of the house. perfection.um. seriously? HOT. a fave.could they be any sweeter? i love this entire series.love.

Hello sunshine…

To say I am excited about the weather would be an understatement. I am such a summer girl…everything about summer makes me smile. Light meals, late nights, fruity drinks, beach bum kids, a bit of sunbathing…you name it. The list is long…

Here are a few things making me smile on this beautiful Friday morning.

The Flip. If you dont have one, get one. Michele picked one up when we were in Victoria and seriously…best little thing ever. I could plug it all day long. Mine should be here any day now. Check it out!

Sink babies. Something about freshly sunned little ones (yes gam + nan they wear sunscreen + hats!) washing the day away in the kitchen sink. Love…

the new GAP Amalfi line for girls. Um, MUST haves galore. This is just a sample of one I love. I want this line for me too! The Embroidered Dolman top…sigh.

Perfect accidents. Trying to climb over the baby gate while carrying what is set to be a super yummy ice cream cone…only to bail and have your forehead eat it first. hehe.

Happy Daddy’s Day.

It seems everything I do lately is a day behind. hehe.

I wanted to say a little “thank you” to my wonderful husband for…well, being so darn wonderful. A little extra thank you for spending your day landscaping the front yard with me (lumi). Seriously, you rock. It was actually, oddly fun!? Since he rarely makes blog appearances, I thought I would flash back to a photo I cannot help but love. Hoping to get these super co-operative 5 in front of the camera soon. Its always a challenge.

An extra Happy Fathers Day to my Daddy as well. Looking forward to seeing you this week and surprising you with a special pressie!
