I have known this beautiful mom to be for many years…and last week I was fortunate enough to finally get her in front of my camera! When I found out Jenn was expecting…I was quick to point out that I knew a photographer who would love to capture this moment in her life…*wink wink*. We made a few attempts at working out a date (its still pretty cold outside)…however Jenn was informed that this wee one would be making an early entry and she needed to get loads of rest until the big day. This meant that many of the shots would be done inside. Not my usual, but I was up for the challenge and so super thrilled with the results.

Jenn you are such a trooper. No complaints at all…this girl could still cross her legs and tough out the cold in a t-shirt. You are fabulous and look totally stunning! Thank you both so much.

The last image…I extra LOVE. I am thrilled to add that a wee miss arrived yesterday morning! Congrats Mommy + Daddy…I cannot wait to meet her!

The best of 2009 :: A bit of it all

I wanted to take the time to post some faves from the past year. 2009 was an amazing year for me in the world of photography. I am so thrilled to be able to spend my time doing something that I love and am very much looking forward to the year ahead. Seriously seriously excited.

These are just some of my faves from the year. A little bit of everything including some personal shots. I plan to put together a couples post this week as well…YAY!

On another note, I have not forgotten about Cans for Comments. Will be getting the total together this week and then off to the store.

I have such a tough time passing on a shoot. I enjoy tagging along to try new things and well…you can never get enough practice. Lucky for me, Michele is always happy to have me tag along.

Recently we took off to Keremeos for a visit to The Grist Mill with an amazing family. Kirsten came with her wonderful hubby and her sweet little nephew… and they were all fantastic in front of the camera! I hope you are as thrilled with the results as I am.

Kirsten you are so beautiful! Cannot wait to hear the details on the new babe…

Thanks again to Lindsay of Heiress Salon & Boutique for being such an amazing model. You are always a pleasure to photograph. Even with a belly, you are up for anything. I just have to love that!

I was set to go solo on this shoot as Michele was out of town and sent it my way. Luckily she made it back and we were able to work together (which I love). Miss Eve tagged along in her stroller and that girl is officially a photographers daughter. She slept almost the entire time!

On a side note…I wish I was half this stylish when not pregnant. ha.

Now of course, the goods.

It must be said, I absolutely LOVE photographing this woman! Beyond the amazing outfits and fantastic style…her personality makes her a total joy to work with. Whats not to love?

Thank you Lindsay for being such a trooper and putting up with all of our wild ideas. Michele and I had too much fun!
