Michele had a session in my studio this past week with Miss Veda and her family…I popped down to take part before returning to kid duty and I am so thrilled that I was able to capture a few photos of this beauty.  Thanks Michele for letting me sneak to spend a little more time with my macro.  I cannot imagine having missed out.  Veda is one beautiful little lady…look at those lips.

This little lady is the daughter of a very dear friend of mine. She also happens to be my cousin and I was thrilled that she was kind enough to allow me the chance to grab a few photos while visiting her new little beauty. Of course, this meant that my miss needed supervision and well, we all know how that goes. ha. I am always up for a challenge!  Our session was short and sweet…Miss Rees was a doll, although she was not really into my idea of having a snooze…hehe.  Monkey.

Thanks again Trisha for allowing us over for the all day visit.  I cannot even imagine how much she has already changed.  Looking forward to see you all this summer.

Recently her mom (Sonia) contacted me for some photos of beautiful miss Sydney as they were set to come to town for a visit.  I had the opportunity to photograph Sonia once before…she happened to be very pregnant and attending her equally fabulous sister Alanna’s wedding.  You can check those out here.

Quite simply…I love what I do.  Having met Sonia while she was pregnant and to now be photographing her beautiful daughter.  Its pretty much perfect.

Of course Mom + Dad (Dale) were also the most wonderful “models”.  You could feel the love that they have for their beautiful little man and it was easy to see just how adored he is.

I had my first clients in the other day (post below, LOVE.) and then I found some new models in the space a day later.  You see, one thing my “studio” is lacking!?  A DOOR.  It has been ordered, but will take up to 8 weeks.  Ahhhh.  In the meantime, I found these little people checking it out and although they were not willing to co-operate for photos, I thought I would share a few fun snaps.  Oh how I love these silly kids…even when the mischievous little one in the purple sweater gouges the freshly painted white wall with a broom and leaves a big black mark.  ha.  I guess it is now officially mine.
