Fresh for Friday.

I do a lot of blog reading.  A LOT.  Actually, more than I care to admit!  Honestly…I dont comment often enough, its not that I dont want to…generally its that I cant stay on task long enough.  hehe.  Personality flaw.

During a blog stalking adventure last night I came across a quote that rang so true I immediately located it online and I decided it was a must share.  I must give credit to Chenin Boutwell of Boutwell Studios for putting it out into the blog world.  So inspiring and a great reminder to us all!  It really struck a chord with me.

Speaking of inspiring…if you have not had the chance to check out Chenin’s work…stunning!

Funny how I “stole” this off of someones blog.  hehe.  Ahhhhhh.  I just LOVE IT.

SHARE THE LOVE

Pam - Brooke, I love this quote, its wonderful. Im going to share it as well ;) I started a new blog... www.lifestylephotographybypam.blogspot.com ... slowly but surely!

cribtales - Well this is just perfect and beautiful! And I admit to a lot of blog stalking myself (including yours and Michele's) for inspiration, ideas, etc. In fact, I've got a shoot in an hour and just stopped by for a dose of inspiration from your beautiful blog! Thank you for sharing all of you.

Alli - Thanks for sharing Brooke! It really couldn't be more true! Often if clients have their own ideas by showing me photos and want me to recreate it, I make sure to tell them that we will have our own swing on it, same idea but our own version! Thanks to you and Michele for your inspiration, your amazing photographers and from what i can tell here in the virtual world, amazing people!

Brooke - thanks all. i just was so struck by this. i personally take inspiration from everywhere. i guess its that fine line right? follow your soul...check!

Michele Dyson - Oh yeah girl. Perfect. Just perfect. There are so many out there who think they are the creators of everything artistic....it really is all about what moves you, what inspires you and what pulls at your heartstrings. Nice reminder:)

alana bourque - By the way, I too am guilty of stealing ideas, but I guess if we don`t want anybody to copy us we should not put our work up there for others to see. I fully intend to get some vintage type dresses and take my girls out for a shoot. I loved the one you two girls did.

alana bourque - I too, do not take the time to comment as often as I should, so you hear you go. I check yours and Michelle`s blog often and always admire what you too are up to. Great job on the favorites...and from now on I will try to leave a note more often just so you know your work is appreciated.

Rhiannon - That's funny. I "stole" this off her blog yesterday too

Danna - :-) great food for thought.

Veronica Lane - I almost left this message on your facebook... but I remembered how much I hate when people leave me messages there and not on the blog! Makes the blog seem a little empty! Thanks for sharing this note! I think that photographer's often get greedy with "who did it first". It's very true... Nothing is original, but it's nice to give credit where credit is due! I'm sure that Chenin will appreciate the shout-out! Great work... I visit your blog all the time!

heidi - So true! So many photographers get all bent out of shape if you use the same location or try and recreate a pose but honestly, no two photographs will ever be exactly the same. I saw another quote on a photography blog with the same message. I too do alot of "research" aka blog stalking, and I like to use what inspires me.

Jodie - WoW! I have to agree!!! thamk you for sharing! There are times i feel so guilty for "stealing" an idea!! :)
