The day started off most interesting. It seems that the sky had other plans for us and we truly were in for an interesting afternoon. The trip to Kelowna included a massive rainstorm…so bad in fact that Michele could not stand to drive. Leaving it to me (eek) to get us there on time and in one piece. I wish we had video of that trip, it honestly felt like forever…
Upon arrival to Kelowna. Gasp…beautiful skies. We could not have been more thrilled. The ceremony and reception were held at Summerhill Winery and was every bit of perfect. The lightning bolted in the distance and allowed Scott + Sarah exchange vows while keeping dry. Of course, we knew that the rain would not hold out forever and it did challenge us for the remainder of the day…luckily our couple was fantastic and braved the threatening clouds and crashing trees. We cannot thank you enough for being so patient and trusting. You are truly fabulous. Thank you for having both Michele and I as a part of your amazing day.
I must also extend my thanks to Carey Tarr for referring Scott + Sarah to us while she was off taking part in a special trip for Cyclebetes. I do hope your trip was fantastic and I am very grateful to you for the referral.
